- Speculation on social media Kyle Walker was involved with explicit video
- But has strongly refuted the suggestions and said he was 'horrified' by it
- Took to Facebook to say his legal team were 'monitoring' the situation
England footballer Kyle Walker has hit out at claims he is in any way linked to an explicit video posted on social media.
There was speculation yesterday that X-rated footage posted online may have been filmed by the Tottenham defender - but he has strongly refuted the claims.
Rumours circulated on Twitter that the footballer filmed the sickening video involving a woman on a bed.
Kyle Walker, playing for England, has denied claims he is behind an X-rated video that appeared on Twitter
The footballer has said he has threatened legal action against internet trolls who linked him with the footage
However, the 24-year-old has strenuously denied the claims and said his legal team are looking into the situation.
This evening, he wrote on his official Facebook page: 'I wasn't going to comment on the rumours going around myself and my family but as people are still talking about them, I feel I need to set the record straight.
'I am aware of a video being shared on social media and am disgusted by the suggestion that it's anything to do with us.
'With so many young people on social media I am horrified that content of that nature has been shared so many times.
'My legal team are monitoring the activity surrounding this.'
Walker, who has 11 England caps to his name, is currently injured.
From the sidelines, he watched his Spurs team mates earn a 2-2 draw away at Southampton today.
An abdominal problem also forced him to painfully miss last summer's World Cup in Brazil.
The Tottenham defender said he was 'disgusted' when the rumours began to surface on Twitter last night
